Hummus
Simple and smooth.
Ingredients
- Tahini: 4 tbsp
- Lemon juice: 4 tbsp
- Extra-virgin olive oil: 2 tbsp
- Cumin: ½ tsp
- Salt: 1 tsp
- Chickpeas: 1 can
- Water: 1 tbsp

- Food processor
- Small spatula
Method
In a food processor, add the tahini and lemon juice.

Process for , scrape the sides with a small spatula, then process for another .
Add the extra-virgin olive oil, cumin, and salt.

Process for , scrape the sides, then process for another .
Drain and rinse your chickpeas.

Add half of your chickpeas and process for . Scrape the sides of the bowl and add the other half. Process for another .
At this point, you can decide if you'd like to add some water to increase smoothness. Do it while the processor is running.
