Cornbread
Soft and sweet.
Ingredients
- All-purpose flour: 1 ¼ c
- Yellow corn meal: 1 c
- White sugar: ⅔ c
- Salt: 1 tsp
- Baking powder: 1 tbsp
- Non-dairy milk: 1 ¼ c
- Neutral oil: ⅓ c

- 8x8" square pan
- 9" round cake pan
Method
Preheat the oven to 400 ºF.
Mix all-purpose flour, yellow corn meal, white sugar, salt, and baking powder together in a large bowl.

Pour non-dairy milk and neutral oil into the same bowl and stir to combine.

Pour the mix into a 8x8" square pan or a 9" round cake pan.
Cook for . Cornbread is done when a toothpick comes out clean and the edges are beginning to brown.
