Baked Apple Cider Donuts
Soft, cakey, spiced donuts.
Ingredients
- All-purpose flour: 1 c
- Baking powder: ½ tbsp
- Baking soda: ½ tsp
- Cinnamon: ½ tsp
- Nutmeg: ⅛ tsp
- Allspice: ⅛ tsp
- Salt: ½ tsp
- Maple syrup: ⅓ c
- Apple cider: ⅓ c
- Apple sauce: 4 tbsp
- Coconut oil: 1 tbsp
- Vanilla extract: 1 tsp
- Powdered sugar: ½ c
- Apple cider: 1 tbsp
- Sugar: 4 tbsp
- Cinnamon: 2 tsp
- Nutmeg: ⅛ tsp

Method
Preheat the oven to 350 ºF.
In a medium bowl or large bowl, combine all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and salt. Whisk together.

In a separate bowl, combine maple syrup, apple cider, apple sauce, coconut oil, and vanilla extract. Whisk together.

Add your wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
Transfer the batter to a piping bag and pipe into a greased donut pan. Shoot for around 75% full.
Bake for , until the donuts spring back when gently pressed.
Let cool in the pan for before transferring to a wire cooling rack and letting them cool completely.
For the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar and apple cider in a small shallow bowl.

For the topping, combine sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a separate small bowl.

Once the donuts have cooled completely, dip the donuts into the glaze. Immediately after dipping, coat with a generous sprinkle of the topping.
