- small spatula

1In a food processor , add the tahini and lemon juice .tahini: 4 tbsp, lemon juice: 4 tbsp

2Process for ⏱️ 1 minute , scrape the sides with a small spatula , then process for another ⏱️ 30 seconds .

3Add the extra-virgin olive oil , cumin , and salt .extra-virgin olive oil: 2 tbsp, cumin: 1/2 tsp, salt: 1 tsp

4Process for ⏱️ 30 seconds , scrape the sides, then process for another ⏱️ 30 seconds .

5Drain and rinse your chickpeas .chickpeas: 1 can

6Add half of your chickpeas and process for ⏱️ 1 minute . Scrape the sides of the bowl and add the other half. Process for another ⏱️ 1-2 minutes .

7At this point, you can decide if you'd like to add some water to increase smoothness. Do it while the processor is running.water: 1 tbsp
