  • neutral oil
    1/3 c
  • non-dairy milk
    1.25 c
  • salt
    1 tsp
  • white sugar
    2/3 c
  • yellow corn meal
    1 c

  • large bowl
  • 8x8" square pan
  • 9" round cake pan

    Preheat the oven to 400 ºF.

    Mix all-purpose flour , yellow corn meal , white sugar , salt , and baking powder together in a large bowl .

    Pour non-dairy milk and neutral oil into the same bowl and stir to combine.

    Pour the mix into a 8x8" square pan or a 9" round cake pan .

    Cook for ⏱️ 20-25 minutes . Cornbread is done when a toothpick comes out clean and the edges are beginning to brown.
