Preheat the oven to 350 ºF.

Mix together 1 cup all-purpose flour, 3/4 cup cocoa powder, 3/4 tsp baking powder, and 1/4 tsp salt in a small bowl.

Mix together 1/2 cup vegan butter, 1 1/2 cup sugar, 1/3 cup non-dairy milk, and 3 tsp vanilla extract in a large bowl. Start with the butter and sugar first.

Pour the dry ingredients into the wet and combine.

Mix in 1 cup chocolate chips.

Line an 8x6 baking dish with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray.

Pour the batter into the dish and spread it evenly.

Bake for 35 minutes. If a fork test shows there's still some uncooked batter, bake in increments of 3-5 minutes. May go up to 45 minutes.

Let cool for at least 1 hour before eating.
